Jules & Ben – Summer Wedding

Jules & Ben had a beautiful summer wedding in the historic town of Warwick in an equally historic venue The Lord Leycester Hospital. With an intimate wedding of 43 guests, Jules & Ben worked with our chefs to create an incredible five course menu. We also created a fantastic Gin selection on our Gin Piano Bar. The evening party started with our Exec Chef Jonathan making an appearance on the dance floor!

Jules & Ben love dining out and enjoying freshly prepared food with great tasting wines and so they were really keen to give their guests a fantastic dining experience to remember.

When we started crafting the menu together we put just as much importance  on how the wines complimented the dishes as the dishes themselves.

Together our chefs created a wonderful menu that took guests on a journey throughout the wedding breakfast with some of Jules & Ben’s favourite foods and locally sourced ingredients.

The Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick is a stunning venue and beautiful back-drop for a wedding.  The courtyard and buildings hold so much history and stories of the past that it was great to be able to use these areas as part of the format of the day.

We set up a sparkling wine drinks reception in the courtyard and served drinks with five very different canapes and of course included our signature canape – Caviar & Chips!

Moving onto the wedding breakfast we served each of the five courses with a different paired wine and used some fantastic locally sourced ingredients from amazing growers, producers and butchers in Warwickshire.

Preparing 43 individually stuffed Courgette Flowers was certainly a highlight for our chefs as they painstakingly prepared each one on the day in the kitchens.

As well as providing carefully selected paired wines for the wedding breakfast and a full-service bar for after dinner, we brought our famous piano bar stocked full of Jules & Ben’s favourite Gins…and a Vodka they couldn’t leave out!

We have a member of the team serving Gin & Tonics with ice and garnishes in Gin Coups and choosing 10 bottles will easily give you and your guests 200 drinks to help get the party started!

The piano makes a great centrepiece and talking point and is a great way to introduce your guests to drinks and flavours they may never have tried before – an experience in itself.

On the day

Jules & Ben had their wedding day at the stunning Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick.  The buildings and spaces are full of history, charm and character and played a big part in setting the scene for a day like no other.

Our chefs prepared a bespoke menu with unique recipes and paired with wines that we researched and worked with our wine merchants to select the best for the occasion.

We're completely shattered but grinning like Cheshire Cats.

Thank you so much for all your help, the absolutely amazing food (which I've had about 100 messages about this morning!) the amazing service, calming influence, the fabulous gin & tonics (!!) & the late night dancing!!! Ben & I had an absolute blast with everyone we love the most. We're completely shattered but grinning like Cheshire Cats. You guys knocked it out of the park, but I never expected any less! Lots of love
