Creating a menu for the launch event

As preferred suppliers of Wesleyan we have developed a close relationship to understand their business and how they like to run events for the teams and their clients.

Working with the facilities team and the lead for this event from the finance team, our chefs prepared a menu tasting to share ideas and suggestions for how this event could work.

As it was an event in late November we suggested some seasonal canapes and one or two with nods to the festive season.

Looking after guests on the day

Our hosts are considered part of the team at Wesleyan and so we worked together to great their guests and ensure they knew where to go and what was happening during the event.

Our team served drinks, ushered guests thorough the various rooms and spaces and served a delicious selection of canapés.

Food prepared fresh in the kitchen

Wesleyan has a hospitality suite on site with working kitchens and so our chefs put the finishing touches to the canapé selection on the evening.

As with many events, timings can sometimes fall behind when guests are late and when speeches overrun.  Our team were on hand to adjust plans and  ensure the event was able to finish on time, but also helped welcome late arriving guests, adapt when food was served and make sure everything ran seamlessly so the events team could concentrate on meeting their guests.

On the day

As a preferred supplier working with Wesleyan we meet with the events and communications team to understand their events plan for the year.

We plan which events will need catering and then we craft menus based on the event briefs, formats, guests and venues so that each event is tailored to the specific needs.

We get to know teams and also guests and the food and drink becomes an integral draw to attendance of events as people remember enjoying it on previous occasions.
